Lizard Squad now selling DDoS attack tools starting from $6/month

The famous hacking group that took down Xbox Live and PSN has announced selling its distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attack tool which is famously known as a method of overloading a server with requests that will eventually make the network or device unavailable for its users. The tool will allows anybody to down an online service or website.






Lizard Squad stated that the attack tool is designed to detect loopholes which was described at the “stress tester”. It was stated that a company may require to test its security services with the tool. The terms of services jotted down by Lizard Squad read, “Permission is granted to stress test dedicated servers and networks owned by you. This is the opportunity [sic] to make your firewalls better, not to misuse against the law.
This is the license given to you and everything you do while http://lizardstresser.su/ is your own responsibility as we are not liable.” According to Gizmodo, “To ensure liability falls on you, the user, and not Lizard Squad, the Lizard Stresser service apparently prevents you from using virtual private network to conceal your identity or location.” Considering Lizard Squad Stresser is open to anyone who is willing to pay, it could be quit a dangerous tool.

There are many tools to perform DDoS action which can be found on many hacking forums but Lizard Squad which has taking down popular gaming network is utilizing its power to cash on it popularity. It offers different package starting from $6 per month to take down a website for 100 seconds to $130/month for taking down a website for more than 8 hours.
